| In Pakistan, riding the rails is one of the best choices you can make to get around and reach all the most important parts of the country. In this lesson we’re going to cover how to use Pakistan’s railway network. |

| In Pakistan, there are no trains that run within the same city. Trains are used to connect two cities. You can take a train from the city of Lahore and a really beautiful ride will take you down from the city along the lush green fields to a small city known as Gujranwala within one hour. The city of Gujranwala is famous for typical Pakistani food made in pure butter and very little spice. It can be a very good one-day tour to Gujranwala to try delicious food and sweets and see some of the old buildings of the city. You can buy tickets for the train at the station or you can buy tickets online and those will be delivered to the place where you are staying. |
| If you are buying from the station, just look for a sign saying Ticket Bechnay Wala, or in English, “Ticket vendor.” |

| Now let's see how to get our train ticket. We can buy a ticket by asking, "A train ticket, please." In Urdu, this is Aik train ka ticket barah e meharbani. |

| Aik is “one” as in “one ticket.” Then we have train meaning “train”. Then we have ka, meaning “of.” Next is ticket which is “ticket”. At the end you can add barah e meharbani meaning “please,” which will make your request sound polite. Let’s hear the expression once again. "A train ticket, please." |

| You can answer this question simply by saying the name of the destination. If you are going to the city of Gujranwala, you can simply say Gujranwala in response to Ap kaha ja rahay hain? |
